The win comes as Ten Hag’s biggest victory since taking over as Man United manager at Old Trafford.
Several players had outstanding games, including Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Christian Eriksen, who scored two goals, and Antony, who scored one.
Ten Hag did not celebrate the Man United mauling of Barnsley and he has given his reason for not celebrating.
According to Goal, Ten Hag said, “we could do everything what we planned to do. how we win, next round, scored some great goals, entertained the fans, we worked on our game model, so we are happy.
“I was not devastated after Liverpool’s (3-0 defeat). I am not now celebrating. We are in a journey and we will see where we are in May because then we have to be good, and then you have to be at your best and, in the meantime, every time progress the team.”
Ten Hag claimed the players played well and entertained the fans and he is happy the game model is working.
The United manager is looking forward to seeing the team in a good position in May and only focused on the team’s progress.
Manchester United will travel to face Crystal Palace in their next Premier League match and Ten Hag will be hoping his team can make it three wins in a row in all competitions.
