MK Dons Sign Carroll
MK Dons have secured the services of Tom Carroll, an experienced midfielder.
The 32-year-old played in League One last season with Exeter City following a year away from the sport. Despite declining a new contract offer from Exeter, Carroll brings a wealth of experience, having started his career at Tottenham and also played for Swansea and Queens Park Rangers.
Carroll becomes MK Dons’ eighth signing of the summer, although the club has not disclosed the length of his contract.
Exeter boss Gary Caldwell praised Carroll’s contributions, stating, “Tom was outstanding for the club last season after returning to football following a year away. He spent considerable time away from his family and expressed a desire to relocate closer to them, a decision we fully respect as a club.”
