Leicester Sign Midfielder Golding
Leicester City have signed teenage midfielder Michael Golding from Chelsea for about £4m.
The 18-year-old, who can play in a number of midfield roles, has agreed a long-term contract.
The England youth international’s move is separate to Chelsea’s £30m deal to sign Leicester midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall last week.
He plans to begin pre-season training with the first team at Seagrave on Monday.
He made one senior appearance under Mauricio Pochettino last season.
Golding expressed excitement about his career at Leicester, aiming to contribute and learn under Steve Cooper’s guidance.
