Hull City have completed the signing of Swiss goalkeeper Anthony Racioppi from BSC Young Boys for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old becomes the Tigers’ fourth summer signing and is in contention to start his new side’s opening Championship fixture of the season at home to Bristol City on Saturday.

“England is the best country for playing football and Hull City is a very good club with good ambition,” he told the club website., external

Racioppi, who has played for Switzerland at under-20 and under-21 level, started both Champions League group matches against Manchester City last season.

He has signed a three-year deal, with an option of a further year, at the MKM Stadium.
