Ajax and the midfield player are still in negotiations for a long-term contract.
Jordan Henderson’s contract with Al Ettifaq has been terminated, allowing him to depart Saudi Arabia.
Additionally, they consented to allow him to return to England from their training camp in Abu Dhabi while he looks for a new club.
It’s no secret that Henderson had a difficult time adjusting to life in the Middle East.
The Dutch powerhouse Ajax and the player are still negotiating a long-term contract.
