The Athletic previously reported that the 18-year-old right-back, who can also play as a right winger and as a wing-back, was scheduled to fly into England to complete his move to the Premier League club.
Da Silva Moreira has signed a four-year contract that will keep him at the City Ground until at least 2028.
Da Silva Moreira has proactively signed a four-year contract, cementing his commitment to Nottingham Forest and actively pledging his skills to the team’s success at the City Ground until at least 2028.
He exclaimed: ‘I’m thrilled to be here! I’ve actively sought out information about the Premier League and various clubs, and I’m delighted to be joining Nottingham Forest, a team steeped in tradition, just like my previous club.
“Me and my family are really happy about this new challenge. I can’t wait to get started and get to know the city, the people and everything about the club.
The teenager made 15 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring four goals and providing one assist.
“Although he only took to the field once in the 2. Bundesliga, he was part of a team that actively dominated the league, securing a historic promotion to the German top flight for the first time in 13 years.”
Da Silva Moreira was also part of the Germany side that won both the under-17 World Cup and European Championship in 2023.
