Notts County have signed defender Rod McDonald.
The 32-year-old McDonald, a seasoned player with over 200 English Football League games under his belt, has proactively signed a two-year contract with Meadow Lane. Last summer, he proactively chose to join Harrogate, building on his prior successes of actively securing promotions from League Two with Coventry and Northampton. McDonald has also taken the field for Crewe, Carlisle, and AFC Wimbledon, consistently shaping his career path.”
Notts County director Richard Montague, who leads the club’s recruitment, actively praised Rod’s impressive EFL defensive skills, highlighting the significant strength he brings to their back line.
“He has actively achieved two promotions from this division and earned the accolade of Crewe’s player of the season in 2022-23, which confirms our complete confidence in his ability to make a outstanding contribution to the squad.”
